Residential Fuel Delivery - Policies and Agreements Delivery Policy The minimum delivery is 50 gallons in Baltimore City (varies in other areas). Deliveries less than the minimum will incur a fee. Delivery tanks must have a fill alarm audible for the delivery driver to hear from outside and must be inspected by the delivery driver prior to the first fill. Attended Deliveries: The home/account owner or other responsible individual over the age of 18 must be present at the time of to sign for the delivery. Unattended deliveries: As a matter of convenience, JJ Adams Fuel offers an option for unattended delivery, i.e., we will deliver the fuel without requiring a signature for established customers. The delivery receipt and/or GPS data of the delivery truck shall constitute proof of delivery. Cancellation Policy For a guaranteed cancellation, customer must submit a cancellation request email to info@jjadamsfuel.com by 4pm eastern time the business day prior to their scheduled delivery date. The subject line must read CANCELLATION and the body of the email must include the name and phone number of the person requesting cancellation. Cancellation under any other circumstances will be at the sole discretion of JJ Adams Fuel OIl Co., LLC. Refund Policy There are no refunds for the value of fuel that has been delivered. If your tank fills prior to receiving the amount of fuel that was paid for, JJ Adams Fuel Oil Co., LLC will contact you within 2 business days with the amount you are due. You may choose to receive a refund or keep the credit on file to be applied toward your next delivery. Refunds are processed on Thursdays (or the next business day if Thursday falls on a holiday). Credit/Debit Card Use Policy Your debit card/credit card will be securely added to our customer management system to secure your delivery. Unless otherwise requested by the customer for a pre-charge, JJ Adams Fuel Oil Co., LLC will charge your debit card/credit card on-file the morning of the scheduled delivery. You may choose to keep your debit card/credit card on-file for future deliveries or request that the debit card/credit card be removed after the delivery is completed. By leaving a credit/debit card on file, you consent that anyone ordering fuel for that address may use that card.
